BMH Hires New Director for 5 North/Transitional Care Facility

May 27, 2004 - Linda Billings RN, BSN was recently hired as the new director for the 5 North unit and Transitional Care Facility at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Billings comes to BMH from Jameson Health System in New Castle where she was an administrative supervisor. She also previously owned her own business, Health-Ed Solutions, Inc., which served as an educational consultant firm for acute and long-term care facilities. She was a faculty member at Mercer County Career Center in the practical nursing program and served as the Director of Nursing at Orchard Manor. She has held several additional nursing and management positions in her career.

Billings earned her bachelor of science degree at West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon, WV and is currently pursuing her masters degree in Nursing Education through Clarkson College in Omaha, NE. She is an American Heart Association CPR instructor, and is actively involved in both Boy and Girl Scouting.

Five North is a 33 bed medical/surgical unit that serves orthopedic and pediatric patients. TCF is a 25-bed licensed skilled nursing center located within the hospital.

She resides in Grove City with her husband Michael and their two children.
