BMH Names Vice President of Patient Care Services

(BUTLER, PA) -- (BUTLER, PA) – Maureen Gray, RN, BSN, was recently selected as the new Vice President of Patient Care Services at Butler Memorial Hospital. Previously she served as the Executive Director of the Office of Organizational Excellence at BMH.

Gray has worked at BMH since 1976 in a variety of capacities including clinical leadership such as a nursing supervisor, a unit director and most recently as a member of the Administrative Team.

“Maureen joined the Administrative Team as the Executive Director of Organizational Excellence in 1998 and traveled the country to bring back the best of benchmarking ideas and processes that made continual improvement the way we look at clinical care here at BMH,” says Joseph Stewart, president and CEO of Butler Health System. “Now we look forward to her leading our clinical services.”

Gray earned her nursing diploma from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh and a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Slippery Rock University.

She is a member of the VHA of Pennsylvania Performance Improvement Council and has served as a contract consultant for McKenna and Associates, a nationally recognized company that provides expert regulatory compliance services to hospital and health systems.

She resides in Butler. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John E. McNallen of Chicora.
