BMH's Women Center to Host Women's Wellness Class "Making it Through Menopause"

April 8, 2004 - (Butler, PA) - The Women's Center at Butler Memorial Hospital will host a women's wellness class on Monday, April 26, at 7 p.m. at the hospital in Phillips Hall. Ronald Cypher, M.D., of Advanced OB/GYN Associates in Butler, Cranberry Township, and Saxonburg, will present the class, titled "Making it Through Menopause."

This one-hour class provides women with the latest results from the Women's Health Initiative Study. Participants will have an opportunity to ask the doctor questions related to the risks and benefits of Hormone Replacement Therapy.

The class is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, so registration is required. For those who register early, are under age 40, and have never been diagnosed with osteoporosis, a free osteoporosis heel screening is available from 6 to 7 p.m.
