BHS Public Relations Efforts Earn National Awards
July 14, 2008 - (BUTLER, PA) - The Public Relations Department of Butler Health System and its strategic marketing partner, Fitting Group, were recently honored for their marketing efforts for BHS WholeHealth in Cranberry Township. The department won two national Aster Awards.
Among the hundreds of entries, only six western Pennsylvania hospitals received awards, and only two received Gold Awards - BHS and UPMC.
The BHS WholeHealth website won a Gold Award, the highest honor within the Healthcare System group and Website category. A Silver Award was also presented to the BHS WholeHealth advertising campaign under the Healthcare System group and the Total Advertising category. The marketing materials of the campaign included a website, a general brochure, an imaging brochure, a lobby kiosk, print advertising and a direct mail campaign.
The Aster Awards honor excellence in the realm of healthcare marketing and advertising on a national level. Submissions are judged against competitors of comparable size across the country. Entries are evaluated on the basis of creativity, layout/design, typography, production, knowledge transfer and overall quality.
Winning entries are published in Marketing Healthcare Today magazine and posted on the Aster Awards website.
