Parking Information for BMH Employees, Visitors and Patients

As of May 12, 2008, there has been a shift in traffic patterns and entrance options on the campus of Butler Memorial Hospital. This is necessary to accommodate campus construction.

Access to the courtyard parking area and building entrances between the Nixon Building and the North Building has been permanently closed for final Nixon demolition and building site preparation. This coincides with the opening of the new Emergency Department entrance on May 12. Additionally, outpatients will now enter the building through the Main Building Ground Floor Entrance.

In order to continue to provide adequate parking for all of our patients, dayshift employees are directed not to park in the Main Parking Lot. This parking lot is located in front of the Main Building and is in direct proximity to the preferred outpatient entrance.

Employees may park in the parking garage or in the North Parking lot in areas not designated for Emergency Patients.

Employees who are observed disregarding this directive will be advised to move their vehicles.
